1Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §1825-D, sub-§1, as amended by PL 2015, c. 179, §5, is further
3 amended to read:
41. Notice. For informing the public about contracts and grants for which proposals
5 are being requested. Notice must also be provided prior to the 3rd renewal period of a
6 contract, if applicable, or when a contract with a total value greater than $1,000,000 is
7 renewed;
8SUMMARY
9 This bill amends the notice requirements to the public regarding state contracts and
10 grants. The bill requires additional notice to the public when a state contract is renewed for
11 a 3rd renewal period or when a contract with a total value greater than $1,000,000 is
12 renewed.
