1Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2Sec. 1. 25 MRSA §2804-C, sub-§4, ¶B, as amended by PL 2005, c. 331, §22, is
3 further amended to read:
4 B. Provide a structured residential and, beginning July 1, 2027, a structured
5 nonresidential program that balances the goals of professional policing with public
6 services emphasis; and
7SUMMARY
8 This bill requires the Board of Trustees of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy to
9 provide a nonresidential law enforcement training program beginning July 1, 2027.
