FOR the purpose of requiring the Prince George’s County Board of Education and the Board 5
of Community College Trustees for Prince George’s County to accept as a registered 6
vendor any person that is registered as a vendor with Prince George’s County ; 7
authorizing the Prince George’s County Board of Education and the Board of 8
Community College Trustees for Prince George’s County to enter into a certain 9
memorandum of understanding with Prince George’s County; and generally relating 10
to procurement by the Prince George’s County Board of Education and the Board of 11
Community College Trustees for Prince George’s County. 12

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 23
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 24

(A) THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY IN PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY. 2

(B) THE PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION: 3

(1) SHALL ACCEPT AS A REGISTER ED VENDOR FOR THE LOCAL 4
SCHOOL SYSTEM ANY PE RSON THAT IS REGISTE RED AS A VENDOR THRO UGH THE 5
PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY’S VENDOR REGISTRATION PROCESS; AND 6

(2) MAY ENTER INTO A MEMO RANDUM OF UNDERSTAND ING WITH 7
THE COUNTY TO IMPLEMENT THIS SECTION. 8

THE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRUSTEES FOR PRINCE GEORGE’S 10
COUNTY: 11

(1) SHALL ACCEPT AS A REGISTER ED VENDOR FOR PRINCE 12
GEORGE’S COMMUNITY COLLEGE ANY PERSON THAT IS REGISTERED AS A VENDOR 13
THROUGH THE PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY’S VENDOR REGISTRATIO N PROCESS ; 14
AND 15

(2) MAY ENTER INTO A MEMORAN DUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH 16
THE COUNTY TO IMPLEMENT THIS SECTION. 17

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 18
October 1, 2026. 19
