Prince George’s County – Maryland Stadium Authority – Blue Line Corridor 2
Facilities 3

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of “Prince George’s County Blue Line Corridor 4
facility” to include certain facilities; and g enerally relating to a Prince George’s 5
County Blue Line Corridor facility. 6

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 17
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 18

Article – Economic Development 19

10–601. 20

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. 21

(nn) [(1)] “Prince George’s County Blue Line Corridor facility” means a facility 22
located within the Prince George’s County Blue Line Corridor that is: 23

[(i)] (1) a convention center; 1

[(ii)] (2) an arts and entertainment amphitheater; [and] 2

(3) A MARKET HALL; 3

(4) A SPORTS FACILITY , INCLUDING A SPORTS S TADIUM, PRACTICE 4
FIELD, OR TEAM HEADQUARTERS; 5

(5) A MIXED–USE DEVELOPMENT; 6

(6) A TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION CENTER; 7

(7) RELATED TO COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND REVITALIZATION; 8
AND 9

[(iii)] (8) any other functionally related structures, improvements, 10
infrastructure, furnishings, or equipment of the facility, including parking garages. 11

[(2) “Prince George’s County Blue Line Corridor facility” does not include a 12
sports facility.] 13

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 14
1, 2026. 15
