AN ACT concerning 1

Caroline County – Alcoholic Beverages – Inspector 2

FOR the purpose of specifying that the inspector for the Board of License Commissioners 3
for Caroline County is the county codes administrator or an individual the Board 4
appoints as inspector; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Caroline 5
County. 6

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 17

2 HOUSE BILL 1613

(a) [The county codes administrator is the inspector for the Board. ] THE 1
INSPECTOR FOR THE BOARD IS: 2

(1) THE COUNTY CODES ADMINISTRATOR; OR 3

(2) AN INDIVIDUAL THE BOARD APPOINTS AS INSPECTOR. 4

(b) The Board shall specify the duties of the inspector, including the 5
administration and enforcement of the alcoholic beverages laws of the county. 6

(c) The salary of the inspector shall be as provided in the county budget. 7

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 8
1, 2026. 9
