SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 12
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 13

(A) IN THIS SECTION , “MULTIPLE LISTING SE RVICE” MEANS A DATABASE 16
USED BY REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS TO FAC ILITATE THE SALE OF REAL 17
PROPERTY, INCLUDING USE IN THE PREPARATION OF MARKET EVALUATIONS AND 18
APPRAISALS. 19
2 SENATE BILL 811
(B) WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE SALE OF A NEW HOME IN THE STATE, A 1
DEVELOPER, BUILDER, BROKER, OR REAL ESTATE AGENT SHALL ENTER THE FINAL 2
SALE PRICE OF THE NE W HOME INTO A MULTIP LE LISTING SERVICE OR SIMILARLY 3
ACCESSIBLE DATABASE. 4
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 5
October 1, 2026. 6
