AN ACT concerning 1
Caroline County – Alcoholic Beverages – Inspector 2
FOR the purpose of specifying that the inspector for the Board of License Commissioners 3
for Caroline County is the county codes administrator or an individual the Board 4
appoints as inspector; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Caroline 5
County. 6

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 17
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 18

(a) [The county codes administrator is the inspector for the Board. ] THE 4
INSPECTOR FOR THE BOARD IS: 5
(1) THE COUNTY CODES ADMINISTRATOR; OR 6
(2) AN INDIVIDUAL THE BOARD APPOINTS AS INSPECTOR. 7
(b) The Board shall specify the duties of the inspector, including the 8
administration and enforcement of the alcoholic beverages laws of the county. 9
(c) The salary of the inspector shall be as provided in the county budget. 10
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 11
1, 2026. 12
