Bill H.1213

Notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, motor vehicle insurance companies shall have the option of offering insurance discounts to licensed operators of motor vehicles who complete a marijuana impairment education course. The course may be offered by accredited driving schools and insurance companies, pending approval from the commissioner of insurance, and the course curriculum must include a module on the dangers of driving under the influence of marijuana.
