Bill H.2381

Section 1. Section 72W of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after “The commissioner after consultation with the secretary of elder affairs and the board of registration shall establish standards for the training of nurses' aides which shall include a minimum of sixty hours of training;” the following: “provided that such training shall be delivered in languages other than English, including, but not limited to, Spanish, Chinese and Haitian Creole; provided further that the department shall determine in which languages the training shall be offered.”
