Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the word “prisoners” in line 252 the following words:

employees of the Department of Developmental Services and Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing holding the positions of Human Services Coordinator A/B or Human Services Coordinator I, Human Services Coordinator C or Human Services Coordinator II, Human Services Coordinator

D or Human Services Coordinator III, Residential Supervisors A/B or Residential Supervisors I, Residential Supervisors C or Residential Supervisors II, and Residential Supervisors D or Residential Supervisors III, as well as other DDS positions that provide care, custody and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities, who are employed in such capacities for 10 years or more.
