Bill H.3028

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 64G, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after the words “the commissioner of revenue” the following:-

“Friends and Family Rate”, rooms rented to employees of an operator of a hotel or motel, and relatives and friends of employees at a rate determined by the operator.

SECTION 2. Section 3 of Chapter 64G, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after the words “$15 per day or its equivalent” the following:-

An excise for rooms rented under a friends and family rate shall be based solely on the rate determined by the operator.
