Bill H.3574

SECTION 1. Section 22 of Chapter 21A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking subsection clauses (iv) and (v) of subsection (c) and inserting in place thereof the following:-

(iv) to promote energy efficiency, conservation and demand response;

(v) to reimburse the commonwealth for costs associated with the administration of the cap and trade program; and

(vi) to reimburse cities and towns for loss of tax revenue associated with the decommissioning of power plants within the city or town.
