Bill H.4374

SECTION 1. The Quaker Meetinghouse Overpass located over Route 6 Mid Cape Highway, bridge numbers S04007 (4BB) and S04010 (4BC), in the town of Sandwich, shall be designated and known as the U. S. Marine Staff Sergeant Raymond G. Tourville Veterans Memorial Bridge, in memory of Raymond G. Tourville, of Sandwich, who dedicated his life to serving our country for a decade in the United States Marine Corps. Raymond lost his life to suicide due to traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder on September 15, 2024, at age 27, after numerous deployments where he served with distinction and upheld the Marine Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment to the United States.

SECTION 2. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers on the bridge bearing such designation in compliance with the standards of the department
