By Representative Vieira of Falmouth, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 5109) of David T. Vieira (by vote of the town) the town of Falmouth be authorized to expend funds to offset certain costs associated with the installation of low pressure pumps on private property in future sewer service areas in said town. Bill H.5109

SECTION 1.

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Select Board of the Town of Falmouth may expend a sum of money from any source as appropriated by Town Meeting for the purpose of reimbursing certain property owners in any Town Sewer Service Area constructed in the future for any costs associated with the purchase and installation of low pressure pumps on private property necessary to connect to the Town’s sewer or wastewater system. The Select Board shall determine the amount of the payments provided that said payments shall be the same for each private property and payments shall follow installation and inspection of the low pressure pump by the town wastewater superintendent.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
