By Representative Berthiaume of Spencer and Senator Durant, a joint petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Donald R. Berthiaume, Jr., that Bradford G. Merkel be authorized to take the state police examination notwithstanding the maximum age requirement. Public Service.

Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 22C of the General Laws regarding the maximum age of applicants for initial enlistment as uniformed members of the state police, Bradford G. Merkel shall be eligible to take the next competitive examination for appointment for initial enlistment as a uniformed member of the state police and, provided he meets all other requirements, shall be eligible for appointment.
