Bill H.5331

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of subdivision (2) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Walter L. Guertin, a former member of the fire department in the city of Attleboro, shall receive a retirement allowance based upon the 32 years of creditable service calculated by the Attleboro retirement board as of the date of his retirement, November 17, 2017, subject to section 103 of said chapter 32.

SECTION 2. The Attleboro retirement board shall pay to Walter Guertin any amounts owed between the date of retirement and the passage of this act.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect as of November 17, 2017.
