Fattman that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation be authorized to designate the roundabout at the intersection of state highways Routes 146 and 16 in the town of Uxbridge as the Officer Stephen A. The roundabout at the intersection of state highway route 146, exit 6 northbound, and state highway route 16, in the town of Uxbridge shall be designated and known as the Officer Stephen A. LaPorta memorial roundabout. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers, including a memorial stone and plaque at the roundabout bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall coordinate with the town of Uxbridge and the Uxbridge police department to determine the location, design and installation of the memorial stone and plaque at the roundabout.
