HOUSE BILL NO. 5069

A bill to amend 2000 PA 92, entitled
"Food law,"
(MCL 289.1101 to 289.8111) by adding section 7132.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 7132. (1) Beginning January 1, 2029, a person shall not 1
sell or offer for sale a food that contains any of the following: 2
(a) Brominated vegetable oil. 3
(b) Propylparaben. 4
(c) Any of the following dyes: 5
(i) Red 40. 6
