SENATE SUBSTITUTE FOR
HOUSE BILL NO. 5571
A bill to amend 1972 PA 230, entitled
"Stille-DeRossett-Hale single state construction code act,"
(MCL 125.1501 to 125.1531) by adding section 4k.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 4k. Section 4j does not apply if the department 1
incorporates by reference the International Code Council's 2
publication of single interior exit stairway for a multiple-family 3
dwelling that is 4 or more levels above grade plane into the code. 4
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect 5
unless Senate Bill No. ____ (request no. S00659'25) or House Bill 6
No. 5570 of the 103rd Legislature is enacted into law. 7
