BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

APPROPRIATION.

$6,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the parks and trails fund to the

commissioner of natural resources for construction of the Root River State Trail under

Minnesota Statutes, section 85.015, from the city of Preston to Carimona. This is a onetime

appropriation and is available until June 30, 2028.
