BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. new text begin [181.745] TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT PARITY REQUIREMENT. new text end new text begin (a) An employer that provides a monetary parking benefit to an employee must offer the employee the option to receive, in lieu of the monetary parking benefit, a benefit of equal monetary value for using modes of transit other than driving a personal vehicle. new text end new text begin (b) The commissioner of labor and industry must enforce this section. new text end
