relating to public safety; appropriating money for a grant to Bolder Options youth

mentoring program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$175,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner

of public safety for a grant to Bolder Options youth mentoring program for the purpose of

creating a pilot program to provide youth, ages 12 to 21, with exposure to career pathways

in public service, including opportunities through the Minnesota Army National Guard. The

pilot program will operate in the cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Rochester. This is a

onetime appropriation.
