BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

APPROPRIATION; JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT NORTH.

$500,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to

the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Junior

Achievement North to increase the scale and frequency of its career readiness and financial

literacy traveling programming. Money must be used to provide hands-on and experiential

learning-based exposure to a wide variety of careers, identify interests and aptitudes, identify

and explore career paths with professionals in the community, and help students develop

the financial and workplace skills they will need to succeed. This is a onetime appropriation.
