A bill for an act

relating to disaster relief; exempting Beltrami County from the cost-share

requirement for state disaster assistance.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

NO LOCAL SHARE REQUIRED.

Notwithstanding the 25 percent applicant share required under Minnesota Statutes,

section 12B.35, upon application and subject to the other requirements under Minnesota

Statutes, chapter 12B, the commissioner of public safety must reimburse Beltrami County

for 100 percent of eligible costs incurred by the county due to the severe storm event

identified in Emergency Executive Order 25-06.
