A bill for an act relating to human services; appropriating money for children's mental health grants for respite care services. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; GRANTS FOR RESPITE CARE SERVICES. new text end new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2026 and $....... in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of human services for children's mental health grants for respite care services for children with mental illness or serious mental illness under Minnesota Statutes, section 245.4889, subdivision 1, paragraph (b), clause (3). new text end new text begin EFFECTIVE DATE. new text end new text begin This section is effective the day following final enactment. new text end
