A bill for an act

relating to capital investment; amending a prior appropriation for capital projects

owned by the Lincoln-Pipestone Rural Water System; amending Laws 2023,

chapter 71, article 1, section 15, subdivision 9.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2023, chapter 71, article 1, section 15, subdivision 9, is amended to read:

Subd. 9.

Lincoln-Pipestone Rural Water System

Lincoln-Pipestone Rural Water System for the

purposes described in this subdivision.

(1) $4,000,000 of this appropriation is to

design, construct, and equip

water storage and distribution infrastructure,

including booster stations and new water

connecting pipelines.

(b) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes,

section 16A.642, this appropriation is available

until December 31, 2028.
