relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to Twin Cities

Public Television.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

APPROPRIATION; TWIN CITIES PUBLIC TELEVISION.

$5,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner

of employment and economic development for a grant to Twin Cities Public Television to

lease property in the city of St. Louis Park and to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and

equip space to operate an interactive, immersive, multimedia experience museum to be

located in the city of St. Louis Park. This appropriation is available when the commissioner

of management and budget determines that $5,000,000 of nonstate funds have been

committed to complete the project. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the

project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
