HOUSE BILL NO. 100

AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT ANY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MAY BE 1
EMPLOYED BY A COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT WHILE HOLDING THE 2
POSITION OF SUPERVISOR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding subsections (1) and (2) of 5
Section 25-4-105, Section 25-4-101 and any other law to the 6
contrary, any member of a county board of supervisors is 7
authorized to hold his or her position as a supervisor while being 8
employed by a community college district. 9
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 10
and after its passage. 11
