HOUSE BILL NO. 1337

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE AMERICAN LEGION TYNER 1
FORD POST 213 IN VICKSBURG TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED 2
WITH MAKING VARIOUS UPGRADES AND RENOVATIONS TO THE AMERICAN 3
LEGION BUILDING FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the American Legion Tyner Ford 8
Post 213 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs 9
associated with making various upgrades and renovations to the 10
American Legion Building for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 11
2026, and ending June 30, 2027........................ $ 123,010.00 12
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 13
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 14
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 15
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 16
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 17
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 18
