AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
MARSHALL COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2
COMPLETION OF PRELIMINARY INFRASTRUCTURE, ENGINEERING, 3

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 8
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 9
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 10
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 11
Marshall County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs associated 12
with the completion of preliminary infrastructure, engineering, 13
environmental impact and cultural resource studies on the Potts 14
Camp Railroad Bridge and Bypass Project, the Byhalia Railroad 15
Bridge Project and the Red Banks Road Improvement Project for the 16
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027...... 17

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 19
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 20

not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 21
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 22
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 23
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 24
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 25
and after July 1, 2026. 26
