HOUSE BILL NO. 1360

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE A SIGN OR SIGNS TO BE ERECTED ON THE EAST 1
AND WEST CORRIDORS OF INTERSTATE-22 APPROACHING THE LOCATIONS OF 2
EXIT 26 OFF-RAMP ENTRANCES IN MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO 3
INDICATE THE LOCATION OF AND DIRECTIONAL APPROACH TO THE "MARSHALL 4
COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. (1) The Mississippi Department of Transportation 7
is directed to erect signage on the segment of Interstate-22 in 8
Marshall County, Mississippi, approaching the locations of the 9
east and west "Exit 26" off-ramp entrances indicating the location 10
of and directional approach to the "Marshall County Fairgrounds". 11
(2) The sign or signs described in subsection (1) of this 12
section are to be erected in accordance with the Mississippi 13
Department of Transportation's permitting process and must be paid 14
for by Marshall County. 15
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 16
and after July 1, 2026. 17
