HOUSE BILL NO. 1362

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MISSISSIPPI OUTDOOR 1
STEWARDSHIP TRUST FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 4
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 5
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Mississippi Outdoor 6
Stewardship Trust Fund created by Section 49-39-7, Mississippi 7
Code of 1972, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and 8
ending June 30, 2027.............................. $ 20,000,000.00. 9
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 10
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 11
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 12
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 13
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 14
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 15
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 16
and after July 1, 2026. 17
