AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO PROVIDE 1
NOTICE TO CHILD CARE PROVIDERS ABOUT THE TIME FOR RENEWAL OF 2
APPLICATIONS FOR CHILD CARE TUITION ASSISTANCE UNDER THE CHILD 3
CARE PAYMENT PROGRAM (CCPP) AT THE SAME TIME THE DEPARTMENT 4
NOTIFIES RECIPIENTS OF CHILD CARE TUITION ASSISTANCE ABOUT THE 5
TIME FOR RENEWAL OF APPLICATIONS FOR ASSISTANCE UNDER THE PROGRAM; 6
AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 7
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 8
SECTION 1. In administering the Child Care Payment Program 9
(CCPP), when the Department of Human Services provides notice to 10
each recipient of child care tuition assistance from the program 11
about the time for renewal of the application for assistance under 12
the program, the department shall also provide notice about the 13
time for renewal to the child care provider from which the 14
recipient received child care services with the assistance 15
provided by the program. 16
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 17
and after July 1, 2026. 18
