AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 10 OF CHAPTER 534, LAWS OF 2024, AS 1
AMENDED BY SECTION 3 OF CHAPTER 510, LAWS OF 2025, TO REVISE THE 2
PURPOSE OF A CERTAIN PROJECT FUNDED WITH MONIES DISBURSED FROM THE 3
2024 LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS FUND AND INCREASE THE MAXIMUM 4
AMOUNT OF THE FUNDS FOR THE PROJECT; TO DIRECT THE STATE TREASURER 5
TO TRANSFER THE SUM OF $450,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL EXPENSE FUND 6
INTO THE 2024 LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF 7
FUNDING THAT PROJECT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 8
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 9
SECTION 1. Section 10 of Chapter 534, Laws of 2024, as 10
amended by Section 3 of Chapter 510, Laws Of 2025, is amended as 11
follows: 12
Section 10. Monies transferred pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 13
of this act and Section 2 of this act into the 2024 Local 14
Improvements Projects Fund shall be disbursed by the Department of 15
Finance and Administration, pursuant to the authority to spend 16
those monies granted by an appropriation bill passed separately 17
during the 2024 Regular Session, as follows: 18
