AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND 1
ADMINISTRATION, ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, TO 2
TRANSFER AND CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF 3
GLUCKSTADT, MISSISSIPPI, INCLUDING THE BUILDING AND RELATING 4
FACILITIES BEING USED, AS OF THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT, BY 5
THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE FOR THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL 6
WAREHOUSE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 7
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 8
SECTION 1. (1) The Department of Finance and 9
Administration, acting on behalf of the Department of Revenue, is 10
authorized to transfer and convey to an entity with whom the 11
Department of Finance and Admonition and Department of Revenue 12
have entered into negotiations for the purchase thereof, real 13
property located at 1286 Gluckstadt Road in the City of 14
Gluckstadt, Mississippi, and any improvements thereon including 15
the building and relating facilities being used, as of the 16
effective date of this act, by the Department of Revenue for the 17
Alcoholic Beverage Control Warehouse. 18
(2) The State of Mississippi shall retain all mineral rights 19
to the real property transferred under this section. 20

(3) The Department of Finance and Administration is 21
authorized to correct any discrepancies in the legal description 22
of the property provided in this section. 23
(4) Any monies derived from the sale of the property 24
described in subsection (1) of this section shall be deposited 25
into a special fund and used by the Department of Revenue to 26
offset the cost of constructing the relocated new ABC Warehouse 27
located in Canton, Madison County, Mississippi. 28
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 29
and after its passage. 30
