AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF 1
MISSISSIPPI DELTA COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS 2
ASSOCIATED WITH CONSTRUCTING A NEW ADDITION TO THE GREER-STAFFORD 3
ALLIED HEALTH/NURSING BUILDING TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SPACE FOR 4
ADVANCED TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION IN NURSING, INCLUDING A NURSING 5

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 8
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 9
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 10
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Trustees of 11
Mississippi Delta Community College to assist in paying costs 12
associated with constructing a new addition to the Greer-Stafford 13
Allied Health/Nursing Building to provide additional space for 14
advanced training and instruction in nursing, including a nursing 15
simulation lab for all health science students, for the fiscal 16
year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027............. 17

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 19
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 20

not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 21
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 22
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 23
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 24
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 25
and after July 1, 2026. 26
