AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT 1
OF MARINE RESOURCES FOR PRIOR-YEAR PROJECTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. In addition to all other sums appropriated to the 5
department, the following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury 7
to the credit of the Tidelands Fund not otherwise appropriated, to 8
the Department of Marine Resources for prior-year projects for the 9
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026...... 10

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 12
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State Treasury to 13
the credit of the Tidelands Fund not otherwise appropriated, upon 14
warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal 15
Officer shall issue his or her warrants upon requisitions signed 16
by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided 17
by law. 18
