HOUSE BILL NO. 1832

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HUMPHREYS 1
COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BELZONI-HUMPHREYS 2
DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Humphreys County, 5
Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an 6
amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) 7
during calendar year 2026, out of any available funds of the 8
county, to the Belzoni-Humphreys Development Foundation to promote 9
tourism in the county. 10
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 11
and after its passage. 12
