AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
CALHOUN COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REPAIRING 2
AND RESURFACING COUNTY ROAD 418 AND REPAIRING AND RESEALING COUNTY 3
ROAD 433 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 8
Calhoun County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs associated 9
with repairing and resurfacing County Road 418 and repairing and 10
resealing County Road 433 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 11
2026, and ending June 30, 2027...................... $ 1,100,000.00 12
SECTION 2. The funds appropriated by Section 1 of this act 13
shall be expended as follows: 14
(a) Repairing and resurfacing County Road 418.......... 15

ST: Appropriation; Calhoun County for reparing
County Roads 418 and 433.
SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 20
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 21
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 22
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 23
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 24
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 25
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 26
and after July 1, 2026. 27
