AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
WEBSTER COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
CONSTRUCTION, REPAIRS, UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO AN 3
APPROXIMATELY FOUR-MILE LONG SEGMENT OF OLD DANCEY ROAD IN THE 4
COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 9
Webster County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs associated 10
with construction, repairs, upgrades and improvements to an 11
approximately four-mile long segment of Old Dancey Road in the 12
county for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 13
30, 2027............................................ $ 1,000,000.00 14
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
