HOUSE BILL NO. 1994

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
MONROE COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2
TENN-TOM BIKE TRAIL PROJECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 4
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 5
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 6
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 7
Monroe County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs associated 8
with the Tenn-Tom Bike Trail Project, including planning, 9
engineering, surveying and construction, for the fiscal year 10
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.......$437,500.00 11
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 12
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 13
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 14
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 15
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 16
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 17
