HOUSE BILL NO. 304

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
NOXUBEE COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2
COMPLETION OF CERTAIN ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE FISCAL 3
YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 8
Noxubee County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs associated 9
with the completion of the road improvement projects described in 10
Section 2 of this act for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, 11
and ending June 30, 2027............................. $4,000,000.00 12
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by Section 1 of this act 13
shall be used by the board of supervisors for the following road 14
improvement projects, with One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) 15
allocated for each project: 16
Supervisors District 1: Gillespie Road 17
Supervisors District 3: Macon-Lynn Creek Road (East) 18
Supervisors District 4: Dorroh Hill Road 19

Supervisors District 5: Macon-Lynn Creek Road (West) 20
SECTION 3. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 21
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 22
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 23
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 24
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 25
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 26
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from 27
and after July 1, 2026. 28
