HOUSE BILL NO. 305

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF 1
NOXUBEE COUNTY TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2
DEVELOPMENT OF A 100-ACRE MULTI-INDUSTRIAL SITE, INCLUDING SITE 3
PREPARATION, UTILITY INSTALLATION, ACCESS ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND 4
ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2026. 5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Supervisors of 9
Noxubee County, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs associated 10
with the development of a 100-acre multi-industrial site, 11
including site preparation, utility installation, access road 12
construction and environmental compliance for the fiscal year 13
beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027..... $2,000.000.00 14
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
