HOUSE BILL NO. 363

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF 1
THE OKOLONA MUNICIPAL SEPARATE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE 2
CONSTRUCTION OF AND MAKING SITE IMPROVEMENTS FOR A NEW ELEMENTARY 3
SCHOOL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of Trustees of the 8
Okolona Municipal Separate School District for the purpose of 9
paying costs associated with the construction of and making site 10
improvements for a new elementary school for the district, for the 11
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027...... 12

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 14
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 15
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 16
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 17
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 18
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 19
