AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE B.B. KING MUSEUM AND 1
DELTA INTERPRETIVE CENTER IN INDIANOLA TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS 2
ASSOCIATED WITH EXPANSION OF THE FACILITIES, MAKING UPGRADES TO 3
EXHIBITS AND MAKING PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 4

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 6
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 7
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 8
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the B.B. King Museum and Delta 9
Interpretive Center in Indianola, Mississippi, to assist in paying 10
costs associated with expansion of the facilities, making upgrades 11
to exhibits and making parking lot improvements for the fiscal 12
year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027............. 13

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 15
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 16
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 17
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 18

her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 19
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 20
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from 21
and after July 1, 2026. 22
