HOUSE BILL NO. 4089

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES 1
OF THE TOWN OF BELMONT TO ASSIST IN PAYING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH 2
THE PURCHASE OF A NEW FIRE TRUCK FOR THE TOWN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 3
2027. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 5
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be 6
necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State General 7
Fund not otherwise appropriated, to the governing authorities of 8
the Town of Belmont, Mississippi, to assist in paying costs 9
associated with the purchase of a new fire truck for the town for 10
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027 11

SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid 13
by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund 14
not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State 15
Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his or 16
her warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, 17
officer or officers in the manner provided by law. 18
