HOUSE BILL NO. 4120

AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO CHARLES KENNETH 1
LANDRUM OF JONES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and 4
completely restored to Charles Kenneth Landrum of Jones County, 5
Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his 6
conviction for the crime of Uttering Forgery in Jones County, 7
Mississippi, for which he was sentenced on January 23, 2008, to 8
serve one (1) year for each count in the custody of the 9
Mississippi Department of Corrections. 10
He was released due to expiration of sentence on October 10, 11
2010. The Legislature is informed that he has since conducted 12
himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and 13
lawful manner. 14
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 15
and after its passage. 16
