HOUSE BILL NO. 4141
AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO PETER FULTON OF 1
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and 4
completely restored to Peter Fulton of Oktibbeha County, 5
Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his 6
conviction for the crime of Perjury in Oktibbeha County, on April 7
29, 1992, for which he was sentenced to serve thirty-six (36) 8
months under the supervision of the custody of the Mississippi 9
Department of Corrections. He violated probation and it was 10
revoked. On November 2, 1992, he was sentenced to serve five (5) 11
years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections 12
for the crime of Burglary-Residential, and three (3) years 13
probation. 14
He was discharged on November 3, 1998. The Legislature is 15
informed that he has since conducted himself as a law-abiding and 16
honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner. 17

Oktibbeha County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 18
and after its passage. 19
