HOUSE BILL NO. 4149

AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO ROBERT HENLEY OF 1
NOXUBEE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and 4
completely restored to Robert Henley of Noxubee County, 5
Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his 6
conviction for the crime of Embezzlement in Lowndes County, 7
Mississippi, for which he was sentenced on August 20, 2002, to 8
serve sixty (60) months under the supervision of the Mississippi 9
Department of Corrections. 10
He was released on March 12, 2007. The Legislature is 11
informed that he has since conducted himself as a law-abiding and 12
honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner. 13
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 14
and after its passage. 15
