HOUSE BILL NO. 4153

AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO SANDRA L. WARNER 1
OF HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI: 3
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and 4
completely restored to Sandra L. Warner of Hinds County, 5
Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of her 6
conviction for the crime of Possession Stolen Property in Rankin 7
County. On October 16, 2013, she was sentenced to serve five (5) 8
years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. 9
She was released on probation November 3, 2014. She was 10
discharged from probation on September 30, 2016. The Legislature 11
is informed that she has since conducted herself as a law-abiding 12
and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner. 13
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from 14
and after its passage. 15
